Founded in 2007,
still building for
the church
Gospel and Information Technology was founded on July 25, 2007. It was first launched in San Francisco with IT students and professionals who love Jesus and want to evangelize people through their IT skills. Almost two decades later, that work spans churches, fellowships, businesses, and schools across the world.
Churches & organizations
Websites and IT solutions for many churches and Christian organizations, including the World Evangelical Alliance, its affiliates, and its regional associations.
International fellowships
Websites, intranets, reporting systems, chat systems, and online conference systems built so fellowships could reach people more easily with technology.
Business as Mission
IT solutions for Christian Business Ministries so they can contribute to mission organizations — and support that turns startup ideas into practical ministries.
Schools & institutions
Websites, library systems, and Christian education platforms — plus the Christian Online Library Project, recording and archiving Christian content.
From San Francisco to a global network
Three headquarters, one direction. Each move widened who G&IT could serve — from the churches next door to fellowships, businesses, and schools around the world.

Launched by IT students and professionals who love Jesus
Gospel and Information Technology (GNIT) was founded on July 25, 2007. The organization was first launched in San Francisco with IT students and professionals who love Jesus and want to evangelize people through their IT skills. From the start the work was practical: websites and IT solutions for many churches and Christian organizations, including the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), WEA affiliates, and WEA regional associations.

Across the country, and out to international fellowships
G&IT moved its headquarters from the West Coast to Kirkwood, New York in 2013. During this time G&IT expanded its support to international Christian fellowships — websites, intranets, reporting systems, chat systems, and online conference systems. G&IT saw their needs and served them to outreach people easily with technology, and launched a Mobile Bible App for Christians to see the Bible easily in their daily lives.

Serving Christian schools and institutions
In 2017, G&IT moved its headquarters to Dover, New York, which started our support for Christian schools and Christian institutions with websites, library systems, and Christian education platforms. G&IT joined the Christian Online Library Project, recording and archiving Christian content so it can be found and used by the whole church.

A new level of collaboration with global evangelical leaders
At the WEA General Assembly in 2019, G&IT leadership initiated a new level of collaborations with global evangelical leaders to boost the support of churches proactively — moving from answering requests one at a time to planning support alongside the leaders who know what their regions need.
- Global leadership collaboration
- Proactive church support
Part of the wider evangelical family
G&IT is presently a member of the World Olivet Assembly and the World Evangelical Alliance. The community that started with a handful of IT students in San Francisco now works inside a global network — and the aim has not moved: that the earth would be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD.
