The Bible
We believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative words from the Lord.
Statement of Faith
What we believe
Everything G&IT builds rests on convictions we did not invent. These eleven articles say what the community holds to be true about God, his Word, his Son, and his Church — and why technology is worth giving to the work of the gospel at all.

The articles
We believe
Each article below is stated as G&IT has always stated it. They are printed here in full, in order, with nothing added and nothing softened.
One God in three Persons
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Man and the fall
We believe that Adam, created in the image of God, was tempted by Satan, the devil, and fell. Because of Adam’s sin, all men have guilt imputed.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
Regeneration
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
Salvation by faith alone
We believe that salvation consists in the remission of sins, the imputation of Christ’s righteousness, and the gift of eternal life received by faith alone, apart from works.
The present ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
The Church
We believe that the Church, the body of Christ, consists only of those who are born again, who are baptised by the Holy Spirit into Christ at the time of regeneration, for whom He now makes intercession in heaven and for whom He will come again.
The unity of believers
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Great Commission
We believe that Christ instructed the Church to go into the entire world and preach the Gospel to every person, baptising and teaching those who believe.
The return of Christ
We believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent, and that it will be visible and personal.

The command
We believe that Christ instructed the Church to go into the entire world and preach the Gospel to every person, baptising and teaching those who believe.
Why it shapes our work
“The entire world” is a scope, not a sentiment. In every age the Church has used the fastest means available to obey it — feet in Paul’s day, movable type in Luther’s, and today the network that reaches everyone at once. That is the whole reason G&IT exists.
What we do about it
Christian libraries, church platforms, chapters, training, and projects — each one measured by a single question: does it carry the Gospel further than it went before?
The eleven articles are not a separate document from the mission. The mission is what happens when a community actually believes them — and has the skills to act on the tenth.
